About:
Mohit Mukhi is a singer/songwriter/guitar player from Mumbai, India. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance (London). Since his return to India in 2013, Mohit has been gigging across the country and has recorded his debut album 'Running Shoes and a Thousand Dreams' with stalwarts from the Indian music scene like Sanjay Divecha and Lima Yanger in May 2016 which was well received. He later formed a band with British Singer/songwriter/violist Heather Andrews and Rahul Wadhwani, a keyboardist and scholarship student from the University of Vienna, with whom he recently recorded and released his second album, 'Midnight Lullabies' in October 2017 which peaked at No.30 on Itunes India. Mohit's music is best described as personal and conversational. His songs are an attempt at finding the aural persona of a literary idea and are an exploration as well as a reflection of his state of being, his struggles and his solace.
