“Barely unnoticed Ben van den Dungen recently joined the guild of the historical big names of jazz. With his playing that can be deduced from Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane, one can easily compare him to heroes like Stanley Turrentine and Joe Henderson.” – Dagblad van het Noorden
