Kicking off a hectic December in high gear, we have FOURMÏ ROUZ, a DJ, broadcaster and curator from the island of Mauritius alongside the inimitable Nathan Jonson who returns to the controls at boxoutwednesdays.
FOURMÏ ROUZ aka Logeshen Moorgan’s publications on Trax Magazine, Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel and The Ransom Note have consolidated his reputation as a trend-setting, avante-garde artist. Alongside a group of Mauritian peers, he has been responsible for the legendary Sound Of Outdoor parties, spearheading original counter-culture movement against commercial club culture. He has performed extensively at festivals such as Portugal’s Le Sucre, the French Trans Musicales Festival and Jodhpur RIFF in India.
Nathan Jonson is the artist formerly known as Hrdvsion, who now steps out under his birth name to mark a new stage in his career. He has explored styles ranging from beatless and ambient tracks to rugged club cuts and pop bootlegs. His discography is spread across labels such as Wagon Repair, Balkan Recordings, Rinse and International Deejay Gigolo. We look forward to welcoming him back to #boxoutwednesdays.
