This week at boxoutwednesdays features a vibe-heavy throw down by Dubai’s The 264 Cru
The 264 Cru is a diverse and multicultural collective of DJs, creatives and music heads. Constantly exploring sounds from across the globe and hosting international guests in Dubai, The 264 Cru play their part in shaping the scene of a young and developing city. They also aspire to change the prevailing perceptions of a fake and glitzy Dubai and prove that there are real, dedicated and passionate people in Dubai who share common interests and values.
Intimately connected to Boxout.fm since the birth of the radio by virtue of sharing a co-founder in DJ MoCity, we can’t wait to have The 264 Cru in control of the ones and twos at the height of peak party season in December.
All-female collective Coven Code continues its rooftop residency at #boxoutwednesdays for the month of October. Coven Code comprises women from diverse backgrounds who have come together in the hope of making New Delhi’s nightlife and music industry more inclusive by creating more opportunities for women. They are inclusive and welcoming to those that identify as femme and non-binary. Coven Code's mission includes zero-tolerance to sexual harassment, unwanted touching, stalking and all forms of discrimination based on gender, disability, sexuality, race, religion or age.
The only weekly residency in the country for underground sounds and culture, #boxoutwednesdays is more than just a night, it is an on-going movement that helps build and serve a community that remains neglected by the mainstream. Brought to you in partnership with Absolut.
We are committed to ensuring that #boxoutwednesdays is a safe and inclusive space for all people. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of verbal or physical harassment or abuse. If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please reach out to us right away.
