The Reasonable Hope
The Reasonable Hope is all about getting inspired by the space around oneself; expressing thoughts and narrating stories through instrumental pieces and cohesive songwriting. The band plays guitar and effects based extended instrumentals, incorporating mellow basslines and ambient soundscapes. Formed in 2013, they went to play a series of club shows supporting a number of local and outstation bands in Pune which further led them to play at the Frog Festivl in Pune in August ‘16 and India Surf Festivsl in Orissa in November ‘16. Their debut EP - Reminiscences was released in October 2017 which was lauded by music journalists and listeners alike.
Pranjal Uniyal is a ‘modern-age percussive acoustic fingerstyle guitarist’ who plays relaxing instrumental music. Coming from the beautiful town of ‘Shimla’ in the Himalayas, Pranjal writes songs which narrate the story of a fictional character named ‘Rachanachar’. All the music is conceptual and philosophical with deep roots in folk music.
