APRICOT is a Modern Rock band based in Bhopal blending different sub-genres of Rock like Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Alternative Rock, Heavy Rock etc. Formed in the early 2016, the band released their first single Anger Management the same year later in December. Soon after their first release the band started covering music festivals and Headlining acts. The core members of APRICOT- Ujjwal Singh(Vocalist/Guitarist), Villy Michael(Bassist) and Hansraj Shankushal(Drummer) come from different tastes in music and hence have different approaches to creating music. Soon, the band released their First album named MATLABI JAHAAN in 2019, with its opening song RAAT hitting 100K views on Youtube. On the quest of finding the perfect name we all threw everything on the table, and quite strangely had one thing in common “Food”. So we thought of a lot of funky words and APRICOT struck as the perfect name to proceed with.

YUGM, a band that took birth from the communion of like-minded musicians. They have put their passion into reviving Indian folk-fusion music, but with a contemporary touch. Their songs are just not soothing to ears, and lively to hearts, but also touching minds with soulful lyrics. YUGM is all about reviving the rhythms and tunes of roots with folk and fusion experiments with Indian and Western instruments from across the world. YUGM is an Indian Folk Band formed in Jaipur (Rajasthan) in 2016 and now moved to Mumbai, who is widely recognized as the pioneers of the fusion folk genre in India. Abhishek Jinger and Mayank Parashar are the founder members of the Band. YUGM is an independent folk-fusion band. Over the last 4 years, they have performed at a variety of festivals and events, with over 400 plus performances. YUGM has grown from a small folk band to a major social influence among the youth, with songs addressing social and many different issues. At the 2018 Rajasthan Style Fest, YUGM was named the “Best Band of Rajasthan Award”. It is an experimental genre, fusing raga (traditional Indian tunes) with rock music, guitars and drums, sometimes using Indian folk songs. “Indo-folk fusion with jazz-spiced rhythms that integrates shlokas, sufism, environmentalism, mythology and revolution” It is the expression of five distinct musical sensibilities that dissolve into each other to bring forth a truly unique sound. Their music is often so well blended that you will experience the honey-like smooth consistency in it. Since their inception, YUGM has been established as one of the most thrilling, innovative and original acts on the Indian music scene, with the unique reputation of enthralling audiences in any kind of setting — from corporate events and music festivals to pub gigs and college shows. YUGM is now a well-respected entity on the cultural map across India. The band predominantly blends folk, western music, Indian ancient music along with elements of Sufi. The band has performed more than 450 shows in over 100 cities and it beautifully incorporates classical Indian instruments to infuse the folk hue to their percolating music. YUGM have shared stages with bands like When Chai Met Toast, Maati Bani, Vasu Dixit, Kabir Cafe, and even opened for the Indian Ocean. Their music has been used for Radio 94.3 FM Rajasthan, and they had been covered by numerous leading dailies (such as Rajasthan Patrika, Times of India etc.). Our music is inspired by the lives, experiences and issues of people around us. Our songs cover a wide range of topics, but we focus on prevailing social issues like water wastage or the taboo against menstruation. While we have a long way to go to spread our message, we believe every song does its own small part.
