Kaushik Das, popularly known as DJ ROOP, is a certified Disc Jockey(DJ) and a Music Producer. He started his DJing career in 2014. Currently he is based at Kolkata, India. He has widely performed in many big cities, all around India. He has also secured top ranks in many DJ Wars all around India, and he has also judged a few popular DJ Battles in India. He has performed in all kinds of events, like concerts, music festivals, night clubs, pubs, bars, private parties, weddings, public events, etc. He also has some of his original songs released world-wide and his remixes have been played in a few radio stations too. Before being a Disc Jockey, Kaushik was a trained Indian classical singer. He had started his musical career at the age of 3. He can play few Indian instruments like Harmonium, etc. He holds a certificate till 1st year(Diploma) in Indian classical singing. He had also performed as a singer in his school events, morning assembly, annual functions, etc during his childhood days. He is a Computer Science Engineer(B.Tech) by profession. And currently he is also working in a renowned IT Service company as a Software Engineer.
