“Simplicity, relatability and optimism by being able to craft music, is the best dose of self-healing for me. And I hope that this music resonates with listeners across the world, in a similar way!”
Pulkit Jain is an independent singer-songwriter and composer. The Indore-bred artist discovered music as his gift at an early age, and started doing live shows, shaping-up a big part of his performance journey. With his motive to pursue a Finance degree, it wasn’t until Pulkit moved to Bombay and rather explored how people connected to his music.
Starting from 2020, Pulkit has a mustering catalogue of songs. While his singles like “Kinare Pe” and “Koi Na Koi” talk about love and warmth, a special feature track on Osho Jain’s album “Saar” - called “Pyaare” depicts a fun and satirical pick on humankind.
Pulkit’s journey in music is equally complemented by his talented sister Palak, who happens to be the ‘Lyrical Jedi’ here. Yup, the lyrics to all these songs are primarily written by Palak, making her an indispensable part of this artist-sibling-duo.
An important part of Pulkit’s life has revolved around social responsibility, which led him to form a charitable organization in 2009 - aimed at education scholarships, as well as medical aid for the stray animals, led by his team of vet doctors and volunteers.
Influenced by the likes of John Mayer, Bruno Major and Mohammed Rafi Saheb, Pulkit believes that combining inspiration with a gentle touch of creativity and uniqueness brings music to life, and that is highly reflected in his self-produced records. With one hand on the piano and another on the guitar, he is continuously exploring the horizon to play solo acoustic music, as well as sets accompanied by a full band.
