Ujwal Nagar
The ensemble led by Hindustani classical vocalist and composer Ujwal Nagar would be exploring the idea of ‘Classical meets Contemporary’. The performance would include classical, semi-classical, folk and original compositions arranged with traditional and contemporary instruments such as flute, keyboards and Tabla/percussions with spontaneous improvisations and engaging musical exchanges.
As a Hindustani classical vocalist and a lead vocalist/composer in the band ‘Advaita’, Ujwal has a knack for collaboration and his melody and rhythm instincts have led to this unique performance set up which is backed by strong musicianship and musical prowess of some fantastic artistes from Delhi. Rohit Prasanna on flute, Anil Chawla on Keyboard and Mahavir Rajput on Tabla and Percussion- together they would create a truly collaborative and engaging musical experience.
