Garden of traditional art and craft at Kovalam, the hot spot in the world tourism map – that is Kerala Arts & Crafts Village. A centre for art, culture and entertainment, it is conceived and implemented with multiple objectives ranging from resuscitation and nurturing of obsolescing handicraft skills and indigenous technologies, diversification of products, assurance of a decent life for the craftsmen by expanding the market and enhancing the price, earning of foreign currency through tourism marketing, to the improvement of the livelihood of the natives implementing the Responsible Tourism Policy. The project aims at transforming the venue from one of mere exhibition, sale and entertainment to an international centre of attraction by developing it to a haven of cultural happenings vibrant with art and culture festivals and spectacles for domestic and foreign tourists and the native public, and then to an academic destination of training and creative development of traditional arts and crafts and cultural exchange programme.

True to their name, Avial blends Malayalam Poetry with Contemporary Alternative Rock Music.
Avial’s music has overcome language barriers not only in India but has also drawn fans across the sub-continent and the globe. It has an increasing fan following, with a revolutionary approach in today’s contemporary music scene.
In search of something more intrinsic, with a sense of belonging, Avial discovered and articulated the expression in their own mother tongue, dared to express their music with their self-titled debut album.
Fetching a great name for themselves, Avial is one of the most sought after Indian bands today, transcending genres, justifying the term “Alternative Malayalam Rock”
Job Kurian’s music is highly rooted in Kerala’s traditional and folk music and he loves to collaborate his instinctive music with different genre’s from across the world which makes his music very unique.
One could say that his music has Kerala’s soul wrapped in an international sound.
Kelvikkuri is an eight-piece band from Bangalore, with no labels, or limits. With their art, they try to capture their emotions and their journey exploring life with each other. Using various genres, including Jazz, Carnatic, Funk, Prog and Neo-Soul, they write about their experiences in multiple languages like English, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Their songwriting process is a joyful collaboration among these friends and musicians who play what moves them. They share their love for Nature- the beauty amongst all the chaos in this world, which is one of their biggest inspirations to create art.
Sreejith the beard is a singer/guitarist hailing from Kerala, India. Well known for his live act and soul connecting songs of his, Sreejith takes the audience through a journey filled with all emotions.
He is a person who would take the pass less taken just to know what is there. Sreejith's music is an extension of himself, all of his originals deriving from his life experiences.
Within a shortspan, Sreejith has toured SriLanka and Nepal twice and has done shows across all major cities in India.
