Ruhee Ahamed
Hailing from Bangalore, India, Ruhee Ahamed is a performing artist and a singer-songwriter whose vocal prowess flows flawlessly from a repertoire of genres ranging from Jazz, R&B, Pop, Western Classical and Regional melodies. Having worked with multiple choirs over the years, the likes of Wishbone Factory, Camerata and Concordia, she is now one of the leading voices of the famed & popular ensemble Bryden & Parth. Being a prominent figure in the indie-music scene, she has collaborated with notable artists including Slain, Agam, Lagori, Bennet & the Band, Jason Zachariah and The Riverman Band, as a live performer and in the studio.
Over the last three years she has released 3 singles - ‘Maybe I’m Foolish’, ‘Hold On To Me’ and ‘Touch the Sun’, which have cemented her as an upcoming indie artist of note in several esteemed publications live the Rolling Stones Magazine, The Score Magazine and Savaal Magazine. She describes her music as a piece of her soul that at some point was inspired by a feeling, a journey, a trial, a battle lost or a struggle fought; she is an artist who enjoys discovering her music and art as life unfolds what lies in between. She is also a voiceover artist, a vocal arranger, a teaching artist, a budding music producer and a fierce cat-mommy to three fur babies (Khan-baby, Socky and Tabby) plus a human, when she’s not touring.
