FOPCHU is the result of a successful gene-splicing experiment of three hair farmers, within the insidious lab known as the FopLair. They couldn’t cut it in the cutting edge life of hair farming, so they decided to return to their comfort zone of whimsical music. Conceived on a debaucherous night in Ranikhet, 9 months ago, the child’s prophetically unplanned birth freed it into the world. Fopchu’s sounds anthropomorphise the spirit of one’s innate farm animal, and redirects productive thought into inebriatedly profound gooforia. MADBOY, the solo Electronic project of Imaad Shah, is based out of Mumbai, India. The sounds he creates defy genre conventions and the focus is on building moods and journeys. Madboy is one half of popular Electro-Funk duo Madboy/Mink - This project is his playground as a producer, with touches of Acid, Disco, Hip hop instrumentals, his trademark vocals, guitar and dense synthladen soundscapes. Think flowing Arps, crisp Hip-hop inspired beats, unusual vocal samples and a little bit of darkness and space exploration. He has released two very well received EPs - ‘Boy’ and ‘Dream Delite’ and has played to audiences all across the country at almost every live music venue in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, and other cities. He has played at Red Light Radio, Amsterdam, Sorte Firkante, Copenhagen and Ziro Festival of Music.
