Peekay is an artist, entrepreneur and musician from Hyderabad, India. Having begun her journey being the frontwoman of Rock band “Spell Check”, she went solo in 2020 and grew vastly popular for her debut single “Good Old Fashioned in Love”, being labeled as India’s fastest growing Indie act and receiving an Asia INC 500 award for her contribution to The Arts in her city. Since then she has toured the country, given a TEDx talk on songwriting, released 5 more singles in the Pop/Rock & RnB genres and in 2023, released her debut Rock album “Starlight” with a hope to stay in a heavier and more Alternative Rock & Pop sound going forward.
Black Letters is an alternative rock band from Bangalore, India that integrates their rock roots with a blend of electronica and melodic phrasing inspired by various forms of Western and Eastern music. Accompanying this is an immersive visual experience that they've crafted over the years to bring out critically acclaimed releases like 'Still As You' and 'Petrichor'.
Their songs have been played over a million times online and airplay on international radio stations. Their ability to marry a well defined sound with visual aesthetics makes for an inward, cerebral and cinematic experience which they've taken to the country's biggest music festivals such as Nh7 Weekender, FofX, Harley Rock Riders, GoMad Festival, Bloom In Green, Control Alt Delete, Oktober Fest; Mojo Rising, IIT Sarang, Strawberry Fields and many college festivals.
Black Letters have also shared the stage with international big names such as Mutemath, Kodaline, Garden City Movement, Opeth, Eluviate, Meshuggah and Chet Faker aka Nick Murphy •
