Sage For The Ages: Second Nature
Description
Sage for The Ages tells stories; of the past and of the future. We combine psychedelic styles and jazz influences to make music for dreamer listeners.
Second Nature is the first full-length album of the band. It comes out in January 2023.
The Second Nature Tour is organised by HEARTLAND Experiences.
THE BAND
Kirtana Krishna is a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, from Bangalore, India, who is now based out of Auroville near Pondicherry. She began her journey in music nearly ten years ago, and in these years, has been a part of numerous ensembles, performing mainly in the jazz and bossa nova traditions. Sage for The Ages is her songwriting project.
Indian pianist-composer Aman Mahajan plays improvised music as a medium of expression, interaction and exploration, influenced by a diversity of traditional and contemporary forms of music from around the world. Mahajan is presently based in Bangalore, active with his solo piano work and collaborations.
Dhani Muniz is an Indian-Brazilian guitarist, bassist, singer, composer and writer born in Albany, New York. Performing regularly since the age of 13, he has delved into blues, R&B, folk, funk, pop, metal, jazz and electronic genres, albeit with a continuous focus on his favourite unifying musical aspect, improvisation. He is the bassist for the band.
Raul Mattia Proietti is an Auroville-raised drummer who began drumming at the age of fifteen. At twenty, he is still one of the youngest drummers in and around the Auroville scene, with a real flair for versatility in both style and touch.
Varun Rao is a sound engineer, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. He brings his harmonies to the band while also doing double duty as the sound engineer.
Anushka Gunputh is a Mauritian-British vocalist, an outstanding and versatile singer. She provides vocal harmonies to the band.

- No liability or claims that may arise due to the consumption or intake of any food or drink or any other consumption will be entertained by the management.
- Parking near or at the event premises is at the risk of the vehicle owner.
- The holder of this ticket grants organizers the right to use, in perpetuity, all or any part of the recording of any video or still footage made of the holder's appearance on any channel or magazine for broadcast in any and all media globally and for advertising, publicity and promotions relating hereto without any further approval of theirs.
- The management reserves the exclusive right without refund or other recourse, to refuse admission to anyone who is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions including, if necessary, ejecting the holder/s of the ticket from the venue after they have entered the premises.
