Zygnema is a four piece Heavy/Thrash Groove Metal band from India (Mumbai). The band, over the last 10 years, has released two full length albums,won numerous national and international accolades that only do so much to correspond to the powerhouse that the band is. One such accolade is the award for Rolling Stone Metal awards 2011 Best Metal band and Best Metal Song in the popular choice category. Zygnema was formed in December 2006, and since then, have been grooving steadily to the tunes of success and uncompromising determination.

Letterz is an instrumental progressive band from Mumbai, India whose members are Tejas Narayan and Shannon George on rhythm guitars, Asxem Dlean on lead guitar, Adil Kurwa on bass and Aritra Basu on drums. The project began as Tejas’s studio project back in 2010. The songs lay dormant until he met Asxem Dlean and started making plans for taking it live. They found the other three members after a year of auditioning musicians. Everyone in Letterz grew up listening to bands like Soundgarden, Tool, Meshuggah, Rage Against The Machine and then Animals As Leaders, Haunted Shores, Textures and Sleeping People later on in college. You can hear the influence these bands had on them when listening to the band’s grunge-meets-djent style of groove based odd time signatures in their music. From Mumbai (India) emerges Darkrypt - a dark death metal band expanding upon the sound laid down by the masters. With influences ranging from Demilich, Adramelech, Demigod, Amorphis, Funebre and Nihilist, Darkrypt have taken the best elements of all and forged a sound that retains the local flavor, yet remaining classic in intent, memorable and catchy. Darkrypt released ‘Delirious Excursion,' their debut album, via Transcending Obscurity Records in 2016 to critical acclaim. In August 2023, Darkrypt independantly released their second album titled ‘As Fate Draws Near’ with the legendary Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, Bloodbath, etc.) on mixing & mastering duties. Musically, the band expands upon the sound of ‘Delirious Excursion’, their debut album, with much stronger black metal influences. Lyrically, the album deals heavily with themes of fate, destiny and free will, while drawing some sci-fi/horror influences ranging from BioShock to Blade Runner to George Orwell’s 1984.
