The people of Bengal has always been ravaged by outside forces for ages, because it's incomparable natural resources and industrial mastery in ancient times. The East India Company was the first force on this land, who destroyed the complete trade system and social structure of not only people of Bengal but the entire nation. War and politics were mere byproducts of their business and process of making wealth. Death dealers are eternal scavengers manipulating our nation and it's people. The vice taught by the British East India Company has still been used by our own people who only feed on people's misery and makes mountains of wealth on our bones and blood. This song is dedicated to all the craftsmen and weavers of Bengal who once took the lands name and fame to entire globe and in return they were crushed forever, even from our history books.

Seeking truth in every act of daily life is the natural motto of human mind. But we are so busy in outer things we forget every other subtler things. Death Dealers are eternal forces of human civilization, constantly manipulating and enslaving entire masses by their logical but slipshod thoughts. Bengal in pre-British raj is a perfect example of the statement.
An artist is who searches through art, for a place where judgment vanishes, and everyone who listens to its call, becomes aligned to the inner thought. It is a process so random, it may happen in first blow of strings, may it happen in many times after. The art we produce is a mirror to the people, though we all do not need a mirror, those who need it we are there to stand beside them.

The time has changed so fast that we are out of the usual trends of music production and distribution. Like us, there are several artists who are struggling because of the loss of space of performance and exploration. To let the art and its true self be alive for long, we must contribute to who matters....
About Atmahatya:
Atmahatya has a signature style of doing fully original and extreme metal music in Bengali and English but the musical and lyrical philosophies are highly influenced by War, History, misery of human life and death. Unlike other western rock music genres death metal is quite different as it is having very strong philosophical communication towards the listeners of this genre, so we bear more of an intellectual and mass modulating ideology towards the society. As a Bilingual act we also serve as a bridge between two spheres of English and Bengali music exists within the city. “Atmahatya” was formed on the realms of pain, salvation, and a truly malfunctioned & confused society. Based on Applied Satanism and anarchy, Atmahatya signifies “the killing”; but killing your own normal human rituals, conventions and bonding, so that you can be free from the socio-mental surroundings. Atmahatya means a message towards everyone to support the free will and ‘individual enlightenment’
