Winds of Bihu is an ambient, fusion and chill track that came about with the rendition of an Assamese folk tune on flute which was then fused and mixed with various western & electronic elements.
The artist collaborating on this project come from diverse backgrounds and have worked towards presenting a synergy between different genres of music and art. Flautist Kartikeya Vashist shared the tune with Vishrut,who added his guitars,arrangements and then shared it with Soumesh who added Electronic Music Production elements in it.The song was than further visually enriched by our dear Visual Artist friend Ayushi Saklani who made the lovely video for this song.We'd also like to thank Madhav Aggarwal for additional Help in the mix

Hello everyone support our latest release Winds of Bihu which is a collaboration between Kartikeya Vashist, Vishrut Pande Somesh Pant, Ayushi Saklani and Vaishali Sahu. As we all know that the music industry is going through a tough time because of the pandemic. Your support means the world to artists like us. We are happy to announce a fund raiser for our release which would greatly motivate us to work on similar projects in the future. And would also be a great push for the current project. Kartikeya Vashist a name that immediately connects you to a whole world of music and specifically the flute. He started his training in bansuri from shri sujit mandal and continued studying music under the guidance of the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr L Shankar. He has also learnt the art of playing Alghoza from Shri Tagaram Bheel.
Vishrut Pande is a music composer and producer based in Delhi. He is responsible for enhancing the aural quality of a project by designing, composing and arranging requisite elements for audio-visual productions. He has been designing sounds and composing music for films and Web-Series being produced by various digital media platforms.
Ayushi Saklani an accomplished and skilled visual artist along with the Delhi based electronic music producer Somesh Pant have contributed immensely in uplifting the overall project to enthrall the audience. The artwork designed by Vaishali Sahu and audio mixing done by Madhav Aggarwal have helped further beautification. Enjoy grooving to the amalgamation of electronic music with an Assamese folk tune.
