Horizon

Horizon is a track that, well the name speaks for itself. It’s the horizon, the dawn of the journey if you will. It starts off with a mellow pad that has some underlying dark voicings here and there to foreshadow some of the dark aspects of the EP while still remaining joyful and lively. I think the hook defines the theme of this song very well-its supposed to be a lively, positive outlook of life that the character (i.e. the listener) has at the beginning of their journey. The verse is mellow and serves as a breath of air before the second hook hits. After the hook, the listener is subjected to a massive breakdown. This signifies the first hurdle in the journey of the character The song ends with a riff that foreshadows Badar, thus acting as a bridge between the worlds of Indian Classical Music and Djent, which Badar is hugely based on, as it is a djent cover of an existing Classical Standard.
